Terms and Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website stocktonkitchenremodel.com (the “Site”) and the kitchen remodeling services provided by Stockton Kitchen Pros (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Services We Provide

We offer residential kitchen remodeling and renovation services in Stockton, CA and surrounding San Joaquin County neighborhoods. Our services include, but are not limited to, kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash installation, appliance installation, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, kitchen design, and storage solutions.

All work is performed by licensed, insured professionals in accordance with applicable California state and local building codes. A detailed scope of work will be provided in writing before any project begins.

2. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free, no‑obligation estimates. The estimate is based on the information you share during the consultation and may be revised if the project scope changes or if unforeseen conditions are discovered after work begins (e.g., hidden water damage, outdated wiring).

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. We do not begin any chargeable work until you have approved a written proposal or contract. Fixed‑price quotes are available for clearly defined projects; larger renovations may be billed on a time‑and‑materials basis, which will be clearly disclosed before work starts.

3. Payment Terms

For most projects, we require a deposit to secure your spot on the schedule, with the remaining balance due upon substantial completion. The exact percentage and payment milestones will be detailed in your project agreement.

We accept payment by check, bank transfer, and major credit cards (a small processing fee may apply for credit card payments). Late payments may be subject to a reasonable finance charge as permitted by California law.

4. Permits and Approvals

We pull all necessary City of Stockton building permits and schedule required inspections. Any permit fees are included in your estimate or listed as a separate line item. You agree to provide reasonable access to the property for city inspectors during normal business hours.

5. Your Responsibilities as a Homeowner

To help us complete the work safely and on schedule, you agree to:

  • Provide clear access to the work area during agreed‑upon hours
  • Secure or remove valuable items from the construction zone
  • Notify us of any known structural or mechanical issues before work starts
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area for their safety

6. Changes to the Scope of Work

Sometimes you may want to add or change something after the project begins. We are happy to accommodate reasonable changes. Any additional work will be documented in a written change order, including the cost and any impact on the timeline. We will not proceed with changes until you have signed the change order.

7. Project Timeline

We give realistic time estimates based on our experience. However, construction is sometimes affected by factors outside our control — material delays, weather, unforeseen structural conditions, or inspection scheduling. We will communicate any timeline changes promptly and do everything we can to keep your project moving.

8. Warranty

We stand behind our workmanship. All labor performed by Stockton Kitchen Pros is covered by a written warranty for a period of one year from the date of substantial completion. Manufacturer warranties apply to cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, and fixtures. Detailed warranty terms will be included in your project agreement.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use, neglect, or modifications made by others after project completion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stockton Kitchen Pros shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work giving rise to the claim.

10. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we are unable to reach a resolution, any legal proceedings shall be governed by the laws of the State of California and handled in the courts of San Joaquin County.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, and design concepts — is the property of Stockton Kitchen Pros unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without our written permission.

12. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. If you cancel after work has begun, you are responsible for the cost of work already completed and any materials already ordered or installed. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if safety is compromised or if you fail to make agreed payments.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and any agreements for services shall be governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal action arising from these Terms or our services shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Joaquin County, California.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
